Not sure what to say?

I just wrote a letter to my son, who is 7 months old now, to tell him about Madeline, who we called Minnie. She was so excited to meet him. I wrote to him about how much his mother and I LOVE her. One thing I wrote and wanted to share: "I feel her now, at least. I feel her head on my shoulder and can feel the smile on her face. She left a part of herself with your mother and I, and we will share it with you when we can. When we need to accept something weird or supernatural; when we decide it...

I recently learned about Madeline and Harley and was deeply touched by their story. In their honor, I have made donations to the Crohn´s & Colitis Foundation and the Oregon Humane Society. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was lucky enough to get to know Madeline and become friends with her in the past few years. She was such a wonderful sweet person and so giving. One memory I will never forget is when we took Harley out for a potty walk and i accidentally locked us out of her mom´s apartment, neither of us had our phones and i was wearing her brothers sandals ( which were much to big ) we ended up having to walk to the management office to call her mom to get permission to be let back into the...

I grew up with Madeline and we were in the same class. She was always such a nice and sweet girl. I unfortunately didn´t get the chance to see the woman she grew into but from what her mother had told me when I saw her a few years back I know she had a huge amount of love and support from her family. Sending my thoughts to your family in this dark time. Best wishes.

I remember when Madeline and Zeph had matching casts on their arms! There is a smiling photo of the two of them somewhere in our house... May happier memories comfort you during this time of loss.

Alice, you are such a deeply kind and caring person. Your children are so fortunate to have your compassionate heart. I am thinking of you and your whole family with this unimaginable loss.

I am so sorry for your family's loss and keep you all in my prayers.
