Madeline Marie Bothner Davis died peacefully on June 13, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at home.  She was born January 10, 1948, in New Orleans, the daughter of the late Norbert J. Sr and Dorothy (Whichard) Bothner.  Madeline graduated from Slidell High School, Class of 1966.  Madeline and her husband Shannon E. Davis recently celebrated 50 years of marriage, having married on April 23, 1971.  Madeline was a proud retiree of the St. Tammany Parish School system having put in 34 years in the transportation department as a school bus owner/operator, Assistant to the Director and finally as the Director of Transportation for St. Tammany Parish Schools.  A loving mother and wife, Madeline’s world revolved around her family.   Madeline was a kind and giving woman who touched the lives of all she met.  She was a member of the Krewe of Eve Queens Club having been the Krewe’s first queen, Queen Eve I in 1987.  She is survived in addition to her husband Shannon E. Davis by her four children, Brian E. Davis (Tracey), Caprice Davis, Breck Davis and Allison (Jacob) Bolin; her ten grandchildren, Jonathan Holder (Ginger), Brandon Davis, Kaitlyn Davis, Brett Davis, Carley Davis, Morgan Davis, Austin Davis, Andrew Davis, Madeline “Madi” Bolin, Reagan Bolin and 5 great grandchildren.
