I didn't know Mattie very well but I've encountered Her many times in the past 43 years as next door neighbor to my Aunt & Uncle (The Devine's). I loved Matties's storie's of Her & Bill's early rustic pioneering years in West Islip. She had a clear love of nature and of her family.
My sincere condolences to Bill and the children. I am certain that Mattie is a welcome addition to the Paradise that awaits us all.
