Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the Gee family and all of those who loved her. Ms. Gee was tough on us because she knew that life would be even tougher. I along with other Bruton Heights alumnae are forever greatful for all she did to inspire our curiosty and to make us reach for the sky.
Renaye Brown Cuyler (Class of 1966)

Out of appreciation I would like to say to the family that we are greatful to have had "Momma Gee" as a part of our lives for she was a great teacher and mentor for all of us who attended Bruton Heights. I will always remeber her passion for learning and wanting us to be successful in life. She leaves a legacy that we are all proud of and I know that my life has been enriched because of the efforts that she has made.

Monte and Family,

Sorry to hear of your loss. I will forever have memories of her. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

To the Family of Such a Great Mentor for many of us that were at the great Bruton Heights School. She was dedicated, longsuffering in many ways with students that needed discipline. The "Old School" students will never forget such a great Educator. God gave her many blessed years with many accomplishments and we are most grateful. Continue to Trust God.

To the Family of Ms. Gee,
Our memories are happy ones,
are sad ones,
are lasting ones.
They help us to remember what was,
what is,
what could have been.
We can look back...
smile,
cry,
and be thankful...
For the memories.

We love you Ms. Gee
From the Lee Family of Carvers Gardens.

To the Family of the late Mrs. Madeline Gee, (predeceased by John S. Gee). I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my neighbor, friend and mentor. I, like many who have known Ms. Gee over the years, will miss her kindness, guidance and firm direction in helping mold Carver Gardens, the Williamsburg area and the Multicultural community at large. May time and prayer help ease the pain of her untimely departure.

Dear Montee and family of Mrs. Gee, there are so many wonderful memories of your aunt to mention, it's hard to just say a few.

Growing up in Carver Gardens with people like Mrs. Gee who would talk to us in ways that you knew they were interested in your well-being meant so much.

I can remember her having us over and talking to us about growing up and becoming young ladies.

She was very immaculate in her design of her home and always had time to talk.

Yes another...

Having been one of the thousands of students that Mrs. Gee taught, I wanted to express my sympathy at this time. "Mama Gee" was a strick educator. I'll never forget that she was the first teacher to REQUIRE that we keep a notebook. I can even remember what the first page was......a picture of the scales with the diagrammed parts! I can truly say that she got the best out of EVERY STUDENT she taught. What she also got was respect and love. She was approachable as an adult and we ALL...
