Madeline (Brodeur) Heath, 87, of Concord, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Madeline was born August 10, 1924 to Sylvester and Agnes (Supry) Brodeur. She grew up in Penacook and attended local schools, graduating from Penacook High School in 1941.

In January 1947, she married William Heath and moved to Concord. She was employed by the City of Concord for 22 years, retiring as Tax Collector in 1986.

She was a member of Court Margaret K. Desmond #167 Catholic Daughters of America, the Concord Liners and the Carmelite Guild. She was a communicant at St. John the Evangelist Church for over 60 years and was an Eucharistic Minister for many years.

She is survived by William, her loving husband of 65 years; her daughter Margaret and her husband William Haskett of Chichester; her daughter Linda and her husband Edward Denoncourt of Salisbury; and her son William and his wife Jacqueline of Gilmanton Iron Works. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Ross Del Deo; Edward Denoncourt, Jr. and his wife Hilary; and Jeffrey Haskett and his wife Susan; three great grandchildren, Shelby, Maisy and Carmela; her sister Anne and her husband Douglas Merrill of Tilton and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Veronica and brother John.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Waters Funeral Home in Concord.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, October 17, at 10 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 72 South Main Street, Concord.

Burial will follow at the Penacook Calvary Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Maddie's passing. She was such a great person and also my second cousin. I have many memories of her and all she did for Aunt Theresa. You are in my prayers.
