Sookie & my Mom Eva Cox are friends. Used to live at Rex Tucker Apartments in Madison then both moved over to Pine Acres. Mom & I would sit out on the porch & Sookie would motor out to join us. I'm both sorry & glad she has passed. She told us her heath was going down & she wanted to go. She had a rough life. She's now free to run around again & be happy. Mom & I send our deepest sorrow to her family

Sookie was Madison High School Football's number one fan. She will be missed and remembered always.

The best marble player on North St and a friend to our family her whole life. A good person who endured much and was loved by so many. RIP Sookie.

"Sookie" as she was known to all of us "North Street" neighbors, was an icon to us kids. She was the "queen of marbles", and always the hardest to find playing "hide & seek" . She not only had a big heart, but was one of our fondest childhood memories growing up as kids on North Street.
Later on in years, you would see her buzzing around in her infamous scooter. Never failing to visit our ailimg mom. Sookie, you were truly loved by all of your North Street family. You will forever be in...
