Not sure what to say?

We are so thankful that out children experienced having her as their teacher. As everyone knows 7th and 8th grade is such a difficult transitional time for our children. I only knew her as my daughters teacher. She was amazing. She always brought out the best in all her students and made each one of them feel they were all special in their own way. As parents, our conferences with her were always productive and uplifting. It was such a comfort to speak with a teacher like Madeline Malone...

As the oldest cousin of the O'Keefe clan, I celebrate the life of the one and only Mimi Malone. We all waited to hear from her on any special occasion because her view of the incident was, without a doubt. memorable to say the least; and to say the most, none of us could top her unique and original opinion and description. We shared so many family stories with so many laughs and so much love for those who went before and gave us the foundation of Faith, Service, and good old Irish humor. We...

A great teacher, a great neighbor, a privilege to have known over these many years. I miss you already.

I was fortunate enough to have Miss Malone for both 7th and 8th grade at St. James in the early and mid 1960's.She inspired my love of reading and writing that carried on through my high school and college years and continues to this day. As with many St. James families, my children were also lucky enough to have Miss Malone for their 7th and 8th grade years. Her influence spanned the generations. Her love of teaching and her dedication to her students will be remembered by many.

Madeline Malone was the consummate professional. She was an inspiration to her students and fellow colleagues. Her selfless dedication to Catolic education was amazing. I was privileged to serve on the faculty of St. James School with her for ten years, and I have treasured her friendship for more than 30 years. I will miss her wonderhul sense of humor and keen intellect. May she now enjoy her special place at the heavenly banquet table. My sincere condolances to the Malone family.

Miss Malone stands out in my mind as being so...approachable. She had the respect of her students as the teacher, but could easily share in a laugh when something funny happened. I always felt comfortable talking to her out of class, and her words of encouragement helped me leave for high school feeling unafraid and capable.

"Mimi" Malone was a classmate of mine at Lourdes Academy. I ihave many happy memories of our friendship and the summers at a cottage with her where her mother was our chaperone. My condolences to her family.

Miss Malone was my favorite teacher of all time! She always made me feel strong and good about myself. I was able to skip an initial math class in High school just because I had her as my teacher.

A great blessing was when she was able to teach my own daughter so many years later and loved her the same!

Than you Miss Malone!

Miss Malone was one of my 8th grade teachers going on 50 years ago. I have nothing but fond memories of her. She taught alongside my Aunt Therese at St. James for many years and they remained friends up until my Aunt passed several years ago. The nuns and lay teachers like Miss Malone and my aunt were women of great nobility who gave their lives so we could be educated. Such nobility right there in our midst made even more so because they did it with such grace.
