Not sure what to say?

Thank you Madeleine for the life you shared with us during your time in Rome in 2007. I will always remember your encouraging and supporting presence. Rest peacefully in God's loving embrace. We will miss you.

sr Madeline

I knew Madeline as she attended College of New Rochelle around the same time I did (I was class of 1963). We were both from Syracuse and rode the NY Central between NY and Syracuse. She was a wonderful Ursuline and I remember most her sense of humor. It has been a long time since I've seen her, but I can still see her smile. God bless her family and her Ursuline family. Madeline, thank you for being the great Ursuline that you are. Your loving great heart made the world a more radiant universe. Thank you for your love and friendship. Your Ursuline Sister, Brenda Downes.

I am united with all the sisters in Eastern province for dear Sr. Madeline Welch. May she rest in peace and enjoy eternal happiness. Many Urssulines in Indonesia cherish sweet memories of Sr. Madeline Welch, who came here after her tertianship and spent about two months with us in Indonesia.

May you rest in peace and God's love!

I pray with your province for Sr Madeline. I can not express how grateful I am to sr Madeline and how I feel blessed by her friendship, love, and good example of the ursuline life. I present my gratitude to the Lord and I thank Our Lady of Prompt Succor for taking care of sr Madeline. I believe she is now with st Angela and all saints ursulines and she intercedes for us with her ordinary smile, kindness and peace, her sense of humor too.
I am happy to have met her in my life. May she rest...

I have so many fond memories of growing up with Madeleine, through FM, then at LeMoyne. so glad Bob and I got to spend with her in Rome a few years ago.
