I was named after Dr. Peirsol. She was my families Dr. before I was born. Then when I came along my parents named me Madge. She was the sweetiest and most loving person, I remember she would come to my house when I was sick ( measles, mumps, chicken poxs) and play and read to me. Those were the good ole days. I have been told that I was Dr. Peirsol's first delivery and that when I fell out of the bunk bed, she came over to the house to assist and console my parents. The entire family appreciated her expertise, compassion and dedication as pediatrician and friend.
