Not sure what to say?

Dr. Mae Marion has been a stalwart in the Austin community and a persistent leader of change in the state of Texas. She was our daughter's Sunday School teacher at David Chapel. We will always be thankful for Dr. Mae being more than willing to pick up our daughter to make sure she made it to Sunday School on time, while we tended to our other kids. She just believed in making things happen, and her life was a direct reflection of that philosophy. We pray she can finally rest in the peace...

To the Family of Soror Dr. Mae Marion - My heartfelt condolences to you. I pray for your strength and peace during this time. May you be forever comforted by the beautiful memories and the awesome legacy of service that she leaves. I will miss her dearly at our Regional Conferences and National Conventions in Iota Phi Lambda Sorority. Mae was a true icon. I take with me the many talks she and I shared.

I'd like to offer my sympathy and prayers to Dr. Marion's family especially little Nicole. I can't remember very many times over the the last five or six years that I've been at David Chapel, having seen Ms. Mae Marion at church without Nicole at her side. Be Blessed Nicole.

We are so sorry about Mae's death. She was a lovely woman who touched so many lives with her joy, generosity and kindness .
She involved many of us in that kindness, and we are all better people because of it. We miss her deeply already, and we can only imagine the heartbreak you feel. Mae lived her life as a model of grace and goodness.
God Will Surely Bless Our Dear Sweet Cousin Sister.

Please accept our deepest sympathy.

An icon of the community and the David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She will be missed. May God continue to bless each of you and my prayers are with you.

WOW!!! I was so saddened to hear of Mae Marion passing. GOD sent the angels to go forth and get one of his his own. When you walk in the light you will seethe smile and wave of Mae Marion saying my work on this earth is done.

She will be truely missed and I always remember the work of her voice that now stands tall in our community.
