It came as a shock when I saw Magdalen's name in the Loyola magazine for alumni. Magdalen, Mary Yerkes, and myself were friends throughout college and roommates in our Senior year. We lost touch over the years so I have only memories of how Magdalen was - fun, sometimes downright hysterical while still hard working and considerate of everyone.I still remember her help in making a Lithuanian dish for one of our classes. Dr O'Toole and sons - I am so sorry for your loss of such a special and strong lady. May you find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in God's Hands. You are in my prayers.

I knew Magdalen for a relatively short time through Wellness House, yet she was an important part of my life and I thought of her often. I will miss her.

Dr. O'Toole and family--I was a classmate of Magdalen at Most Holy Redeemer grammar school in Evergreen Park and my parents were friends with her mother. I am very sorry to hear of your loss and she will stay in my prayers. Magdalen was a wonderful person, and I am sorry to hear of her passing and sorry we did not keep in touch after grammer school.
