We are so sorry to learn of Leno's passing. Our condolences to Licha & family. We will always remember the happy couple that visited Helen Gardea in El Paso, Texas especially when our own Tia Lola Rubio joined the group. All those wonderful jokes that kept us laughing for days. RIP

We will miss Leno for many reasons, but specially for his charming and incredible way of telling jokes, making our gatherings much nicer with his singular charisma.

Everyone who knew him at all will have lost a real friend, and for all of us in the family he has left a place that ca never be filled. I think I never have known a kinder, more considerate person. Gloria M. Chriss

Leno, we shared many stories and time together. He and Eliza were my mentors in writing and social justice action. I have nothing but admiration for this man! I possess one of his art projects that he presented to me and my husband for our 25th anniversary. Condolences to Eliza and family. Emma and David Lechuga
