Not sure what to say?

I would like to personally thank each and every person who has prayed for our family, signed this guest book, and/or attended the funeral. Memaw was such a character! She spoke her mind but was gentle and caring at the same time. She loved every family member and simply did not want to be alone. She loved a good conversation. Hopefully the family can pull together and appreciate each other and see how short life is!

We knew Maggie for many years and we know the love her family has always had for her. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. As Jeff's aunt and other grandma we will cry with you and pray for you all

I would just like to say that I wish everyone had the chance to see their loved ones live to be age 99. I had that blessing and would not trade a day for nothing in the world. I'am going to miss all of her phone calls, how she would call to ask about my kids and see if it was time for my grandma to come home from work. I will miss how she loved my mom's homemade cooking. I want anyone who reads this to know that no matter how long someone is in your life it doesn't seem long enough! Make sure...

Mrs. Maggie Coates will truly be missed by loved ones and friends. I enjoyed what little time I had to spend with such an incredible woman. Although I built a bond with her that will never be broken I wish that it could have been longer. Thank you Jeanette for allowing me to be there to help your mother in anyway possible. You will be in my prayers. -afternoon caregiver/nurse aide

I visited Maggie in her home and enjoyed her company. She was a wonderful lady and we talked about many things. She was in the care of Riverside Walter Reed Hospice and that is how I knew her. I crocheted a winter hat for her and a hat for her birthday bear while visiting with her.. Years ago I also delivered meals on wheels when she was doing the crocheting. Jeannette is a wonderful daughter to care for her during her illness. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers, God Blees you. ...

Vickie and Karen,
We were so sorry to read about your grandmother's passing. Focus on the good times. You are in our prayers.

Elaine and Wesley Wilson were Maggie's tue. meals on wheels folks. We always looked forward to that stop because we knew as we went by her window she would be sitting there in her chair and waving. There were few times when we said how are you doing that she didn't say, with a big beautiful smile "oh I'm OK" and then send us off with a happy "thank you". We shall continue to do meals on wheels, but the route will never be the same without Maggie Coates on our list of stops. She is with our...
