Not sure what to say?

I haven't heard from Maggie in a while so I just called her only to learn of her passing. I am so sad and heartbroken!! I'm trying to find more information as to what happened? We would chat every month or so but I noticed things were quite lately. She loved her babies (cats) and she was an old soul on this earth. I loved making her laugh. I'm in shock. If anyone has any information as to what happened I would appreciate an email so I can process this. I worked with Maggie at ORAU for many...

I’m heartbroken to learn of Maggie’s passing. Even though we had not seen each other in years, we would talk several times a year. She was always delightful and had such a wonderful way of sharing her life experiences. She was a loyal friend. I was so happy that she was able to travel to Japan. She was hoping to go back again. I hope her beloved cats will be able to stay together. She also loved the office cats where she worked.
Even though Maggie still had a lot of living to do, I...

I was stunned to learn of Maggie's passing this evening. I was the Director of the NOAA Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (ATDD) in Oak Ridge for 16 years, and Maggie provided excellent library and research services to me and my scientists for much of that time, working as our reference librarian. She was a joy to work with, with a real "can-do", 'I-can-find-it" attitude while searching for often arcane reference materials in far-flung libraries. I greatly admired her...

Maggie, we will miss your laugh, wise advice, faithful friendship, and big heart. You believed in being genuine and respected people from all different walks of life. I am so glad you were able to go to Japan this fall and make new international friends. You were able to aid distinguished scientists in their research and publications and encourage those who were struggling. You helped us see the humor in many situations and insisted on carrying on with life and work after a major stroke. You...

Maggie was an awesome person, I loved her a lot. I will miss our phone conversations almost weekly and on the rare chance we were in town visits to Big Eds Pizza! She was not only an awesome person but a pretty terrific cousin! I love you Maggie and will miss you!
