It's been a year now since Maggie passed, and I miss her. The crazy conversations and hanging out. Maggie I hope you found peace on the other side. You are gone but not forgotten.

Only this afternoon did I learn of Maggie's passing. I have said my prayers for her family and for her and I will continue to do so for some time, for a long time. I only ever briefly met her husband and I do not know her children but I can say with 100% certainty that she loved them with all her heart. Maggie didn't do anything without complete commitment. When I think of her, I picture her smile and remember that she was always quick to laugh. She had this wonderful and perfect balance between toughness and tenderness. Her children are blessed to have her genes because in her genes is an essence that is truly, truly special. So special in fact that I can't think of another person I have met in my time on this planet that I can compare her to. God blessed all of us who had the privilege of having her in our lives.

I've known Maggie since she was 11 years old. She was always in a good spirit. She was funny, caring and always could make me a smile. I wished I could have spent more time with her. May God bless her family, she was a very special person and will be missed dearly.

I met Maggie Mae almost 15 years ago at a baby play class. We were both new parents and had know idea what we had gotten into! With a lot of laughs (and tears) we stayed friends through moves across the country (and back again) and illness. Maggie always made my family feel like we were welcome and loved - a part of her family. We will miss her smile, her unapoligizing honesty and fire! I pray that the sweetest memories of Maggie remain in the hearts of all her friends and family. Brian, Foster and Connally my prayers are for your peace and comfort

I first met Maggie when I first started working at River Place Country Club three years ago. She was always so sweet and caring to me as if I was one of her own kids. You will be missed Maggie! Rest in Peace.

Truly loved Maggie as a dear friend of our family. I remember taking her with us on special occasions like vacations and baseball trips. She truly was a "spitfire" full of zeal and a true friend. Bea...I think she took after you on that one. Alex and Alicia were also very big influences in her life. I wish I would have gotten to hang out with her more in Austin, but I was able to teach one of the girls she nannied for, Jessica, who loved her dearly.
To her family, our prayers are with you from the Monty house.
I do believe there is a special place in heaven for Maggie, we'll see you there. Much love!

I met Maggie when she moved to Brownwood. She lived a fee houses down and e became best friends almost immediately. She basically lived at our house and a second daughter to my parents and a sister to me and my brothers Bobby and Jeff. I loved her very much and I am so very sorry wee lost touch as we entered adulthood. I'm so sorry I never met her children and husband bc I can't imagine her being anything less than a wonderful mother and wife. My deepest condolences go to Bea, Alex, Alicia and to her husband and children.

When Maggie entered the room, you knew it. She always was smiling and had an energy that would lift the mood in the room. Her family meant alot to me during my school years.
I know she will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all! Maggie was a beautiful person with a heart of gold! I remember when she was in high school at Brownwood. She was in a group called Coed Boosters. They would paint signs for the football boys and go and decorate their rooms at their homes. Maggie came to our house with a couple of other girls and decorated my sons room. She was so happy and spirited and so pretty!! It's a small world because I ended up marrying Alex's brother in law Eddie. So I have kept up with precious Maggie and prayed for her when she was sick. I am praying for you Brian, Connally, and Foster, Bea, Alicia and Alex!!! Maggie loved you each so very much! Heaven has another precious angel now!! She will always be watching over you all from above! May God give you peace and surround you with His love!!!

Maggie grew up a few houses down from us in Brownwood, Texas. My boys were friends with her, Alicia, and Alex. I remember she always had a smile on her face. She was a bubbly little girl. I'm sure she had the same vivacious personality as an adult and I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to see her with her husband and children. My condolences to her husband, children, Bea, Alicia, and Alex. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Brian, Foster & Connnally,
I am so saddened by your mother's passing. She was a bright light every time I was with her. I vividly remember walking up to the pool with my 2 kids, not knowing a soul, and seeing her there with you 2 kiddos. She instantly got up and shook my hand saying "Hi, I'm Maggie Mae!". It was my first introduction in the neighborhood! I knew I liked her instantly! She will be missed by lots. I know that she is now experiencing a peace that she could never imagine existed! I can't wait to see her again one day in the presence of our Heavenly Father! Heaven is a happier place with her there!
Much love to you all.....
