Magnus Nagase

Magnus was an artist through and through: he designed our Lowell Class of '57 T-shirt and the rally painting of the 'old' Lowell on Hayes St. at Masonic Ave. Also was a valued member of our Track and Field Team. Ken Kelly, LHS Class of June 1957

Went to Lowell with Magnus and worked with him on our reunions. Last saw him at our 60th reunion a year ago. It was so good to catch up with him again. He was just a wonderful, lovely man and I will miss him.

I have old but very fond memories of Magnus. We went to Madison School and Lowell High School together. The last time I saw Magnus was at our 40th high school reunion 20 years ago. He was a great pal when we were kids and he hadn't changed a bit when we met at the reunion. I regret that health problems will not allow me to attend his memorial, but number me among those who truly feel a loss. My best to his family.
