Not sure what to say?

I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I knew Mahmoud in grade school in Arlington. He was always such a friendly and cheerful person. I will always remember him fondly!! Sympathies to his family.

Mahmoud was a good person and classmate from the W-L class of 1977. He and I organized the 30 reunion with four events over three days including attending a W-L football game. Mahmoud also worked the 35 reunion. He will be missed for his drive and energy. Would like to send prayers to the family for your loss. I just learned through a mutual friend of his passing.

This was definitely a sad way to end my day. I met Jeff through SAF when I was a student. He was always quick to make sure everyone was doing ok and I walked away knowing he sincerely cared about those he considered a friend. I remember reconnecting with Jeff a couple years ago when he did some contract work for SAF. I was surprised but excited to see him and enjoyed catching up on both our families. It's going to take me a while to process this. His smile and kind heart will be missed....

Mahmoud was a good friend who I shared baseball interests with. I got to meet him just before leaving the DC area for OBX. We stayed in touch sharing our interests in national events, Washington Nationals games, and the ocean. I am glad that he got to see the Nationals win the World Series in 2019. But Mahmoud will be missed, for he was very good at making people's lives a little nicer.

Still processing the loss.... I had the blessing to get to know and work with Jeff over the years with SAF. He was, and is, an incredible inspiration in so many ways professionally and personally. Prayers and peace to y'all and thank you Jeff for your perseverance, guidance, and being just plain fun to be around.

So sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was a great guy and a true mentor to me in the early days of my journalism/science writing career. His advice and instruction has served me well over the years and I still use some of his tricks of the trade. He will be missed.

He was a wonderful journalist and man. I enjoyed working with him at SAF and considered him a good friend. Although since my retirement I have not seen him for many years, I will miss him.

Jeff was an amazing person to be around. He always made you laugh and was never afraid to tell you the truth. The world is in need of more people like him. The touring community will never be same without you. You will be missed, my friend! My prayers and thoughts to his family.

So very to sad to hear of Jeff's passing. He was one of the first people I met years ago when I became involved with the DC chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He was so kind, smart and funny. He encouraged me to run for the local board of PRSA which I did and served with him for two years. Sending all good thoughts and prayers to his family and many friends.
