Maida Lorraine Gordon

I've known Maida since working at Hyster Company in Portland. We have tried to keep in contact every few years or so. The last time I spoke with her, we had planned to meet. Unfortunately, she had a bike accident in Sun River (I think) and broke her hip so the meeting was postponed. We never had the chance to get together and now knowing what she had been going through, I wish that I had known so that we could have seen each other at least one more time.

I'm very sad that she is...

Maida had it all.. brains, beauty, compassion for all living creatures, and most of all a heart of gold that touched all who knew her.

While serving as Customer Service Manager at Cascade Corporation I had many opportunities to interface with Maida in her capacity at Pape. She was always Professional , witty, yet extremely effective at conveying what was required to meet her companies needs from our company. She was highly respected by our organization and a genuine joy to work with.

She will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

I called on Maida at Pape' Hyster as an outside vendor (Cascade Corporation)for over 25 years for retiring in 2011' and moving to Arizona..My thoughts and prayers are with you at most difficult time. She will be surely missed.
