My heart breaks for your family. I never knew him, but saw a news article about Maisie and felt compelled to find his obituary, as our family also lost a child suffering from schizophrenia three years ago. It is such an exquisitely painful experience & nothing is ever the same, but somehow we do go on & try to experience the world the way we know Lizzie, and Maisie, would want us to. In all its raging color & complexity & pain & joy. I'm praying for your strength & courage & that you continue...

I fondly remember visiting you guys and I always enjoyed Charlie's company. He was such a bright, crative, genuine person. I was inspired by his jounrey through being trans and his support of the LGBT community, and his overall attitude towards life.
