Dad, there is not a day that goes by that I want to talk to you. I miss our long conversations about philosophy, religions, politics, the human nature among many. You were the most intelligent man I knew. And it pains me to realize that not many realized that about you, but I sure did! I love you Daddy.

I wish I could hear one of your stories about being in Kentucky with your Grandma. Those always made me smile because I know that in your life that time you were the happiest. I love you Daddy.

I miss my daddy. I miss his words of wisdom, his rational thinking, his common sense, his never give up attitude, his open door, and that little smirk of his.

As time passes and the grief is not so strong, the memories of being raised by my daddy come back in detail. And those memories are all good. Thank you Daddy.
