Not sure what to say?

The Swedish Lunch gang of Orange County have again lost one of our members. This time it is Majken Lundgren that have left us.For many years it was her husband Torstein that entertained us with his music and his wife Majken with his side. Torstein left us in 2005. After Torstein's passing Majken continued to come to our monthly luncheon, but in the last years she moved to North California to be close to her daughter and her family. We in the Swedish Lunch Gang will always miss Torstein & Majken...

Howard and I knew Miken for many years and many fond memories of our time together.

We were very fortunate to have known Majken. We were blessed with both her and Torsten's friendship of many years. We know that there are no words that can fully comfort the ones who have lost a great loved one, but may God give all the strenght needed to continue on... with an amazing memory of a beautiful soul who was and is still among us, in our hearts. Rest in peace Majken!

Tack Majken
för alla trevliga minnen.

I am so sorry to hear about Majken. She and Torsten were our sponsors at Vasa and they participated in our Swedish family reunion on the Qeen Mary. We always had lots of fun with them. Majken was so sweet and full of spunk. We missed her when she moved away. She will always be remembered fondly in our family.

I am thankful to have known Majken and Torsten. My sons still fondly remember the practices for Lucia with the Wasa children's club, where Torsten played the accordion. And I will always treasure Majken's warm generosity when we had "sewing circle" at her house. My heartfelt sympathy to Madeleine and family.

Majken was a wonderful woman. So full of life, and always willing to extend a hand when you needed some help with the children's singing club (Morning Star). I remember going to her and Torsten's house for practices with Stephanie and Christopher. She would always call and ask if I needed help. She was helpful, fun, and high spirited. Chris still eats at the table she gave him when she moved up north, and we all enjoy looking at the picture she gave us, that the children in the Morning...

So sorry,a great Lady with a great sense of humor...

We are so sorry to hear that Majken past away. She was one of the girls in the s.c. Swedish "Sewing Circle" She will be missed.
