It has been my honor and privilege to have known Major General Charles Heiden since the mid-1980's. Following his military retirement and soon after his move to Louisville he joined the Cedar Lake Board of Directors where I worked as chief executive and whereon he and I began a collaboration and relationship that would last for well over 25 years.
