Major Joseph D Taggart

Major was born on June 25, 1942 and passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Major was a resident of Etters, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. He was a 1960 graduate of Corry Area High School, Corry, PA; a 1964 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. He entered the U.S. Air Force as a Second Lieutenant and served five years active duty before serving an additional seventeen years in the Air Force Reserves from which he retired in 2002 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was married to Fonda. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, 402 Valley Rd. Etters, PA 17319 with the Rev. Dr. Deborah J. Heisley-Cato, his pastor officiating.
