Peace be with you Uncle Gil on this Palm Sunday. A year has already passed since you was called home to be with the Lord. I know you are at peace and happy being with him. I look forward to seeing you and the rest of my family when the Lord calls me home.

You are dearly missed Uncle Gil

Uncle Gil always had a smile on his face. I didn't get to see him too often since moving to Florida in 1998. The Lord has called him home where there is no more suffering. May the Lord be with everyone during this difficult time and comfort you.

I worked with Major Thurman in the mid `70s and admired his professionalism. Condolences to the family

A class act. A pleasure to work for. He stood above the majority of the administrators at the police department. I shall remember him fondly. Rest in peace.
