Malcolm W. Aiken, 87, of Lyndonville, VT died on Tuesday October 8, 2024 at NVRH in St. Johnsbury, VT.
He was born May 18, 1937 in Cambridge, VT, the son of the late Kenneth and Grace (Wood) Aiken.
He is survived by his stepdaughter Becky Hedges Warren and husband (Dave) of Florida, and step grandkids. His sister-in-law Shirley Aiken and Nancy Aiken. Malcolm had a lot of nieces and nephews. He had two very special niece and nephew Trudy Stuart and Mike Gleason that would drop everything for him and put there life on hold to take care of his needs.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Francis Aiken, all of his siblings and his step daughter Linda Chase. He was the last one of 13 kids. His brothers: Douglas (Joe), Donald (Buck), Durward (Dimick), Ronald, Uriel (Babe) and Reggie. His sisters: Faith Leonard, Audrey Charland, Mary Lou Duff, Ruby Guay, Annabella Boutin and Madeline Petit.
A very special thank you to his neighbors for always being there for him and helping him out. To Home Health of St. Johnsbury, his nurses, aides, social worker, home makers, the family appreciates everything you did for him and us.
There will be only a graveside service at Newport Center Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. on Monday October 21, 2024. Those who wish may send contributions in his memory to the American Red Cross or Caledonia Home Health Care & Hospice in St. Johnsbury. Online condolences may be made at curtis-britch.com.
