I am deeply sad to hear the demise of a great professional Colleague and friend,in Dr Malcolm Bourne. Dr Bourne was so affectionate, caring and encouraging to me always. First time I met him was in the IUFoST meeting in Nantes in 2006. and ever since then , I have always cherished the interactions with him. He and his wife used to be together in the meetings and it has been a great experience and fond moments for me. He was a simple and unassuming person . May his soul rest in peace.

We are very sorry to hear of Dr Bourne's passing. May he rest in peace. I (Debby) worked for Dr Bourne as his Adm. Assistant from 1981 until 2010 when I retired. He was always very kind to me and we had a very nice working relationship. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
