Malcolm K. Brachman, oil and insurance businessman, entrepreneur, nuclear physicist, philanthropist, and internationally renowned bridge player, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at the home of his daughter, Lisa Brachman, in Chapel Hill, N.C.
