Not sure what to say?

I worked with Mike while he was a contract consultant for DDI. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I will truly miss his stories. He always brightened my day just by hearing his voice.

My deepest sympathy to Mike's family. I only got to know him by phone when he helped me with my facilitation of Leadership Fundamentals by telling me to simply use some "southern sugar" in my facilitation. Turned out he was right! What a gift he was to many people - even those of us who never had the pleasure of meeting him in person.
Blessings to you all at this sad time. I miss knowing he isn't around to laugh with and consult with about this class. We had shared our mutual belief...

I am so sorry for your loss.

I got to know Mike during his work at Progress Energy. His strength of character, energy, enthusiasm and humor enriched not only my life but the hundreds of employees he trained in our company. He has been a blessing and inspiration to all of us.

To Mary Lou and the Elward family. The last time I saw Mike, he was such a joy. It was in Atlanta working on the COX project. He talked about how proud he was of you and the commitment you had made to your aerobic classes. How good you looked. I feel like I've met you from listening to Mike. May God give you and your family the strenth to keep moving forward and continue to bless all of you.

Mary Lou,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Although I did not know Mike for a long period of time, I knew him well enough to appreciate his talents, values and in general-his outlook on life.

Mike will be missed and I wish you and the rest of your family all the best.

Marylou and family:
I've know Mike for almost 14 yrs and it has been an honor to work with him. He's touched so many lives with his humor, his hugs, his humbleness, his laughter and his stories! His love for each of you always weaved it's way into a conversation. Find comfort in your faith and the fact that there are people all over the world lifting you in prayer.

Dear Elward Family,

May the memories of Mike and your faith sustain now and in the future. As a fellow consultant like Mike, we traveled similar paths. Every client that we had in common always talked about what a great, professional and positive person Mike was. He touched many lives and will be missed by all of them.

With deepest sympathy,

To Mike's Family with Deepest Sympathy

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike. He was an exceptional person and an excellent facilitator/trainer. He touched hundreds of employees here at Progress Energy through the insights and examples he provided in the DDI training he conducted for us. Mike will be truly missed and rememberd for years to come.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Each time I had the pleasure of working with Mike in New York, I looked forward to see Mike in the morning because of his wit and wisdom. He took such pleasure in his work and in his travels and had such fascinating stories to tell, that I felt privileged to be with him and to share in his joy. MIchelle Lacroix DDI
