We became such close friends at our cottages on the river. We had so much respect for Red. We will miss hearing the sound of his model airplane flying Saturday morning, the clink of horseshoes dropping in his yard, his company at our fire in the evening, and our conversation in between. I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. I know the loss will be very hard, and it should be when you love someone as much as you loved Uncle Red.
