Not sure what to say?

M.L. and Esh were our pastors and dear friends in Meadville, Pa. in the early 70's. My favorite memory is buy a strawberry pie at Elby's and going to their house for fellowship with them. We loved them a lot.

My parents attended the Church of God in Meadville, PA - Reverend Lavender counseled me at a difficult time in my mid & late teens. His calm and intelligent approach to life's issues had a significant and positive impact on my choices at that time.

I'm writing to honor wonderful Rev Lavender. He baptized me at the Church of God, Meadville PA; I was 16. What he brought to the church was very special, thank you Pastor! My family LOVED him, always will, as well as Mrs Lavender (Esh), Terry and Russ! So many stories! The love and memories are forever. Joe Custard

It was an honor to know such a great man. Peace and comfort to your family, he will be missed here on earth for sure, but we can look forward to seeing him again. Such an awesome person!!

One of the few men that lived the life he preached. Truly a man of honor and integrity. So many fond memories. He has received what he lived his whole life for...eternity with his Savior. Prayers for the family, rejoicing for Pastor Lavender.

Will always have a very sweet memory of him and our blessed years as friends. Have a great journey and you will be missed

Pam and Terry, I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
