Not sure what to say?

Mr. MacBain was able to get the most out of kids who weren't the top students. That was a talent. I can remember getting my SAT scores in math as Junior at NBHS in 1984. They were good and I didn't expect it. He showed me the score and said, "see, I told you so." I felt ten feet tall. Thank you Mr. MacBain. Rest in Peace.

Sorry we did not know you had passed. Condolances to the family.

Brian and Tabitha MacBain

When I had to cram a year of Physics into 4 months to be allowed into my college of choice, Mr. MacBain was the one who made it happen - for this reason and many others he was a good man.

I am so glad that I was able to tell Malcolm how much he influenced me and my life a few years ago. He was crucial to my success as an adult, and helped me realize what I had to offer the world. He was a true inspiration.

Rest in peace I for one will never forget you and the impact you have made on all of your students lives

Thank you for the time you took with me. Your dedication to your students was an inspiration. May you rest in Peace.

Rest in peace Mr. MacBain. You made a world of difference...thank you for always believing in me. "WHAMMO"

Mr. McBain made me want to go to college. I wrote him a letter a few years ago to thank him for that. As a teacher myself I am well aware of how we often never say thank you to those who have impacted our lives. As teachers that leaves us to wonder if we ever truly make an impact. He wrote me back to say thank you for the note. I am glad I did that.

Rest in peace, Mr. McBain
