Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I was truly saddened to hear about Ward's passing. He and I worked together for a number of years at Kennecott in Salt Lake City. He was always a gentleman, a friend, and an advocate for what was right. I wish that I could have been able to spend more time with him or to know him when we were both younger. As it is, life calls us to diffent things and I am happy to have taken part in a portion of Ward's life. My wife Bonnie and I send our condolences to all of Ward's family and want them to...

Ward,

I am truly saddened to read of your passing. We were always on opposite sides, but I always believed you to be fair. I always respected your position and knew your limitations with our employer. Your dad, Shirl, was a remarkable gentleman and I worked with him over my thirty plus years at Kennecott. I remember he always had his shoes shined and an effevescent laugh that made one feel great. May you rest in peace and my sincere condolence to your family.

Ward has always been my friend and dear to my heart. I love him and will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I think the expression the Good die young is very appropriate in Ward's case. His wonderful smile and out look on life was always evident whenever you talked to him.
Rick and I have enjoyed the great times we had at the lake with you both, from your wedding to the many visits we shared. You and Ward will be a big part of the memories we have enjoyed at the Gorge!

To Wards family
I send my deepest sympathies for your loss. I only met Ward once but he was a very kind and wonderful man and he and Noreen welcomed me into their home and made me feel so comfortable. We were all very lucky to have had him in this life, may his memory live on. God bless you all.

Noreen,

We can't get out or our head the night we were playing catch phrase. Dad (Ward) had a song he was trying to get us to say and he kept saying the Beatles sang it. I can't remember the song but, It was not a Beatles song. Right after Jill got Yellow Submarine and he couldn't guess because she was on the other team. We couldn't stop laughing that night after that, Every thing was a Beatles song.

We will always be here for you.
We Love you dearly,...

I WAS FROM HILLCREST, WARD FROM JORDAN. WE MET THRU MUTUAL FRIENDS AT A CORNER SERVICE STATION IN SANDY, "QUALITY OIL". I LIKED AND RESPECTED WARD FROM THE START. HIS GENTLE NATURE, WARM SMILE, AND UNDERSTANDING OF EVERYONE. THE LAST TIME I MET WARD WAS AT ANOTHER SERVICE STATION, WHERE WE BOTH WERE GETTING GAS. I SAID "EXCUSE ME, BUT ARE'NT YOU JAMES TAYLOR ?". IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN TOM, HE SAID. IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE YOU WARD, I SAID. WARD WAS A GOOD MAN, THAT SAYS IT ALL. ...

A truly fine gentleman with a long Kennecott family tradition.
