Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege to be a young pathology trainee and junior staff pathologist working with Dr. Sher in the meticulous care of his patients. He was a very dedicated teacher of the residents and students and had a lasting effect on the careers of many of them. He was also a very kind person with a good sense of humor. I still have a classical textbook in the field of pathology, the 4th edition of Ewing's textbook of pathology, that he gave to me when he retired. His greatest testament,...

We are sorry we can not be there for the gathering. We will miss his wonderful relationship with his sister. Who says oil and water can not mix if they come from the same seed. He was always my role model on how to maintain a clean house I just wish my wife would agree to use the model.

Raymond H. Goodrich and Family

I was a patient of Dr. Sher's back in 1982. He was very kind and reassuring. My condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Sher. I was sent to him several years ago for some surgery. I found him to be one of the nicest people and the best doctor. I will always remember his treatment with a piece of piano felt and how he laughed when he told me. We have lost a wonderful person and fantastic doctor. My prayers are with his family.

Dr. Sher long made us smile at life and ourselves - he will be missed.
