Not sure what to say?

Dear Folks,

Woke up this morning thinking of two of Malcolm's paintings that my parents' (Stanley and Beverly Brush) own. Was wondering what other paintings were in his portfolio?

During a recent family visit in late September (for my own mother's death), one of my grown sons admired Malcolm's painting of the 'Lyre Tree at Woodstock School'...which we discuss in my father's memoir, Farewell The Winterline.

I am saddened to learn of Malcolm's passing. I have had the...

I am sorry to hear of the passing of both Mr and Mrs Swing. Mr Swing was a most loved teacher. I lost track of him after his antique shop closed and always hoped I would see him again. The world has lost a colorful interesting gentleman.

Hi Anita. Just got your message, my email is [email protected]

Thank you Mr Swing for being a great teacher and friend, You taught more than art to many of your students. Rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of being a student in his class at Selkirk High. .I will never forget his stories and he always had a slight smile on his face. .he will be truly missed, not just by me. .I'm sure all students that had him for a teacher have their own memories of him and also feel a sense of sorrow. I was fortunate to live a few blocks away from his antique store and would go there many weekends to help out or just to talk. Not only was he my teacher, he was also my friend. .my condolences...

I always enjoyed art class even though I was not meant to be an "artist,"Mr. Swing made me feel like I had something to contribute!

Sorry to hear of Malcom's passing and Helen's illness. They were such fine and passionate workers at the Shelter when I was there. One could never find the words to thank them for their valuable contributions to the community. Malcom was a kind, wise, compassionate and oh such an interesting wonderful person.

Amazingly, I had thought of your family recently, and coincidentally discovered your Dad's obituary on FaceBook..I have fond memories of your parents, and of both of you girls at Wesley United Church and Kigsway Park School, where Leo was principal for many years...I too, have have spent my retirement as an artist, and until his death in 2011,Leo was a strong support and cheer-leader in my work.
I visited your Dad's shop often, and still have a feather duster that he sold me probably 30...
