Not sure what to say?

Randy was a tireless volunteer and an important transporter of donor eye tissue for the Lions Eye Bank

Randy was one of the most generous people I have known. He was not only generous with his " treasure" but also with his time.

We were sorry to hear about Randy. He was a great boss and a very kind person. It was a beautiful memorial. Ernie & I felt very priviledged to be taken on many conventions/trips with, Delores, Dick & Marilyn to Hawaii, Phoenix, Dallas and San Francisco. It was very educational & fun to attend the Food Dealer Conventions and to see what the industry was doing. I learned much about the grocery business that I had no knowledge about before I worked for Food Giant. I was able to explain to...

Dear Delores & Family
I was so sorry to hear of Mr. West passing. I remember many good times with the West Family as a young girl. I have fond memories of being a "runner" with Pam at several of his auctions. I also remember the time that Mr. West had my mom make sand candle centerpieces for one of Randy's events. Those were the good ole' days. Hold on to the memories..........My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dolores and family,

What beautiful and loving tributes were given for Randall. He definitely leaves a void in many lives. How fortunate so many were helped along by him. While I did not know him well, I feel fortunate to have had him a part of my life, if only on e-mail. I will miss him a great deal. My thoughts and prayers for you.

We are so sorry about Randy. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Delores,
I was so sad to learn of Randy's death. I smile when I remember his amazing generous heart and spirit of giving. Of course the first thing that comes to mind is the fact that he had to pass the air port coming and going from work and the proximity of Food Giant to University of Washington Medical Center and the Lions Eye Bank. How many times did we wake him up in the morning asking him to pick up a package coming in from somewhere around the region? The calls also went...

Mr. West offered me a chance to leave the retail world and open the first Washington State Lottery Sales window at the Wallingford Food Giant. It was quite a leap. Once that was established he then asked if I'd like to go to Dayton for training on a point of sale software system and start a new department. I said sure then asked "Where is Dayton?". When he said Ohio and saw my expression, he just laughed. It was the beginning of many years working in the Point of Sale system for Food Giant...
