It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we sadly announce the passing of Malik Ty'Ree Singletary, age 27 of Kingstree, SC, who died Saturday, October 12, 2024 at MUSC Health University Medical Center in Charleston, SC.
Funeral service for Malik Ty'Ree Singletary were held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Bible Way Temple of Lane, 7024 Seaboard Road, Lane, SC where Elder Naomi Plowden is the pastor, Elder Sammie Capers of Bible Way Temple of Lane presiding and Pastor Jeremy Plowden of Temple of Faith of Florence, SC deliver the Words of Comfort. The Interment followed at the Greenlawn Cemetery, US Highway 52 North, Kingstree, SC.

Malike Ty'Ree Singletary, beloved father, son, brother, grandson , nephew and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 27 on October 12, 2024 , surrounded by his loving family by his side at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC.
Born on February 4, 1997 in Florence, SC, Malik was the son of Peggy Williams Singletary and Tyrone Delone Singletary. He grew up in a tight-knit community where his infectious personality was felt and known by all. His style and skills were impeccable, which led to his nickname, "Sauce".
Malik attended the the public schools of Williamsburg County. He attended Williamsburg Academy School from 2013-2014 and then returned to Kingstree Senior High School where he graduated in 2015. While in high school, he excelled in basketball, baseball and football. He furthered his education at Benedict College in Columbia, SC.
Malik attended Bible Way Temple of Lane in Lane, SC under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Plowden, Jr. at a young age. He also attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Ricks and Pastor David Woods.
Malik enjoyed life and touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. No matter who you were or where you came from, he treated you with respect.
In his free time, Malik enjoyed spending time with his beautiful daughter, Laila, who he deeply loved and who was the apple of his eye.
Malik Ty'Ree Singletary leaves to cherish his precious memories: a daughter, Laila Singletary of Laurinburg, NC; a mother, Peggy Williams Singletary of the home; a father, Tyrone Delone Singletary of Florence, SC; a sister, Shatoria Williams of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Tyrone Singletary, Jr. of Camden, SC and Michael Singletary of the home; a grandmother, Vernell T. Williams of Kingstree, SC; seven uncles: Joe L. Williams, Levi Williams, Jr. (Angela),Kevin Williams (Shawntea) Anthony Singletary, Jimmie Lee Singletary, Alonzo Singletary, and Pastor Frankie Fulmore (Valerie, all of Kingstree, SC; three aunts, Sheila Graham of Salters, SC, Deborah Singletary and Shanta Singletary both of Kingstree, SC; a godmother, Frangetter Wallace McCrea (David) of Kingstree, SC; the love of his life, Antique Dupree of Laurinburg, NC; special friends: Shoo, Lil'D, Joel, D'Marc, EDub, Kermy, Charvon, Dre, KJ, Jamal, Oreak, Coop, Daivion, Fat Man, Black and Africa; a host of other relatives and friends.
Malik Singletary may have departed this world, but his spirit will live on in the the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
