Not sure what to say?

Horne family,

My sincere condolences to you! Mallory was a wonderful man who made such a difference in our lives. He worked his magic and took care of everything necessary in order for my husband to adopt my son in 1994. Mallory's son and I became best friends before we lost him many years ago. Now he and David will once again be together! May time be kind in healing your pain. I wish you happy memories and peace during this time.

Much love,
Melissa, Brian and...

Dear Lou,

I know it has been 35 years but I am still profoundly grateful to you and Senator Horne for giving me my first job as his receptionist in the Senate President's office and "rescuing" me from Seminole Flying Service. It was the care and training I received from you that allowed me to go on to an amazingly successful career as an assistant to other politicians, an international sports celebrity and the CEO of a Fortune 500 Company. I know I speak for thousands when I...

It is always hard to lose a friend and Mallory was a bigger-than-life true friend. My father, Robert Gresimer, was his campaign manager over 50 years ago. We have remained in touch all these years and I feel so privileged to have been counted as a loving friend. Heaven is fortunate to count him as one of their own.

He was an Angel. He was not just a politician, but one who cared about the little guys. I was one of them. He touched my life in a way that leaves his smiling face and thoughtful ways emblazoned in my minds eye. I will miss him and never forget him.

President Horne was truly a great man. I was honored to work in the Florida Senate while he was President. He will be greatly missed.

While employed with Rufus Jefferson, one of Mallory's long-time friends, I had the opportunity to work with and get to know Mallory. He was such a true Southern gentleman and he would always take the time to sit and chat with me while visiting our office. He will truly be missed and my heartfelt condolences to all his family and close friends.

The Grand Lodge of Florida F&AM extends its sympathy, however inadequate, for the loss of its Brother.

The surviving sons of the late Dr. & Mrs. Odis Kendrick, Jr. send their respect and condolences. Odis III,Jim & Bob.
