PASTOR MALU BAKATAMPA MUTOMBO

Very saddened to hear of Malu's passing. I happened to run across and article he wrote while in school here and it brought back memories of visiting with your family on 4th Avenue and our traveling together to Waterloo for church. My life was greatly enriched for having known all of you, especially Malu. He loved the Lord, so I am assured that he is enjoying a new home in glory. I pray that all the other family members are well and that you are surrounded by a loving community.

We have many good memories of your time with us in Cedar Rapids. Malu and I joked about him running for president and I always called him Mr President when I saw him.We will miss him but know that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. God bless.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the Mutombo family as we went door to door in the ministry as Jehovah's Witnesses. We loved his kindness and hospitality.
