Mamie Carruba

I miss talking to Mamie each evening. I would be talking to her about the Alabama-Auburn game tonight. I am sure she has better things to do in heaven. Especially during this holy season, the birth of Christ, the reason it is called Christmas.

When I think of Mamie I remember the many morning we met before work and walked the perimeter of the office trying to stay healthy. A treasured friend.

I will miss you. Always.

Mamie was a part of my State Farm family. We walked around in the building upon early arrival each week.We had many good conversations and laughs together. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

I have several memories from working with Mamie. She was a pleasant lady to be around. My sincere condolences to her family.

Mamie & I worked together at State Farm all of those years. She trained me as a file clerk, rate clerk, and service correspondent. She did not train me as an Underwriter. We ate lunch together through those 40 years. We became best friends & remain so. I looked forward to our nightly phone calls. Heaven has gained a special person!
