Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear about Miss Manette's passing. She lived in my neighbourhood and I also knew her through my Mom. She was well-known and knew a lot of folks in Covington. I enjoyed my conversations with her when going for walks and she'd be outside her house. I loved her southern accent. The street where she lived won't be the same without her.

Sallie and Ned,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to your mom. She was always so great to talk to and loved to be "in the know."
Ruth M. Blum

Ned and Sallie, So sorry to hear about Ms Manette's passing. She was such a kind, caring and unique person. My sympathy to your family.

I first met Manette while attending Tammany Christian Fellowship. When I found her again at Northshore Bible Church, it made me feel that I had found the right church home. I will miss her. Karen Wahden

Sally,
I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always very kind to me and I have a fond spot in my heart for her. Remembering you in my prayers.

We had the high honor of having known Miss Manette for almost 25-years. Miss Manette is an "Institution" in her own right here in St. Tammany Parish. Everyone knows Miss Manette, and, Miss Manette knows everyone. She is a Dear, Sweet Sister-in-Christ and will be missed by all.

Manette has been an icon in the Covington community. She was a unique character always in the know. Our local Christian community will miss her. She was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus.
