Not sure what to say?

In the 1970s, my wife, then named Hanna Peck, taught English as a Second Language to members of the Iranian Air Force. Her instruction had a mechanical and aviation emphasis, as the airmen who completed her course were sent to Texas to be taught helicopter mechanics in English. Chanced upon this website, looking for General Khosrowdad riding SeaSpray, my father's horse in Esfahan. I vividly remember him walking past me towards the horse when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. He was such an impressive man. The way he walked and carried himself. Made you feel proud to be an Iranian. This was one soldier who will not be forgotten.

Even with his cruel death , He is alive in our hearth , even me from the generation that was born 20 years aftet that cruel rebellion , your father and all those army men who sacrificed themselves are our heroes

I think of my friend Manouchehr often. He was a true gentleman and leader. I was his trainer for show jumping during the 1970's. He was an amazing athlete and attentive student. We became good friends over those years. I heard of his cruel assassination when I was in Virginia watching the news of the revolution. I was devastated. It was such a waste of an amazing human being. I have nothing but fond thoughts of a great man. May he RIP.
