The very first time I was taught how to tie flies Manny had giving me praise 30+ years ago . Long since that class I have "moved on " with my life and career only to retire last year and rekindle our connections through the very same classes. God could not have put a better man on this earth than Manny DaSilva. Manny had a heart of gold, the patience of a saint, and a singing voice of an angel. I am sure the choirs of Heavenly angels welcomed Manny with open arms.

To the DaSilva Family my sincere condolences. I was fortunate enough to have met Manny last January in attending the WM Fly Fishermans fly tying program. Manny was most impressive given his vast knowledge, equally amiable and very welcoming to a woman looking to learn and fit in amongst many gentlemen associated with this wonderful organization. The Fly Fishing community has lost a gem of a man. Tight lines Manny as you fish on! Claire Clini
