Manuel Castelo Branco DeMedeiros

Manuel Castelo Branco DeMedeiros, 60, of Constitution Street passed away on April 2, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel Inacio and Maria doCarmo DeMedeiros. He was the father of Gabriela DeMedeiros, Paul G. DeMedeiros, Carlos M. DeMedeiros and Crestina DeMedeiros; grandfather of Kayleigh DeMedeiros, Hayden DeMedeiros; and brother of Rosa Pacheco, Maria deRego, Lurdes Chora, Nicolau DeMedeiros, Jose DeMedeiros and Armando DeMedeiros. Mr. DeMedeiros attended school in Portugal and was an employee of Mt. Hope Builders for 30 years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church and a member of the Don Luiz Filipe Association. His funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Friday 4 – 8 PM.
