Manuel L. Gervasio 78 of Fall River died on Tuesday.
He was the husband of Maria Rosario (Correira) Gervasio to whom he was married to for 54 years. Born in Porto Formoso, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose and Mariana de Jesus (Viana) Gervasio. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a General
Foreman for Beacon Constuction Co. for many years. Mr. Gervasio was a communicant of Good Shepard Parish.
In addition to his wife, he also leaves 2 sons Joseph Gervasio of Scituate, RI, David M. Gervasio of Fall River and a daughter Maria Gorette Rego of Somerset. Grandchildren are Jason Gervasio, January Pacheco, Anthony Gervasio and Mandy Gervasio. He also leaves a brother Jose Gervasio of Fall River.
Visitation THURSDAY 4-9 PM His Funeral will be FRIDAY at 9am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 10am Mass at Good Shepard Church. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com

Manny, You were one of the nicest men I have had the pleasure of working with.
