Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Lopez family (Richard and Gloria) and the men and women of the CELSIUS Band, we offer our condolences to the Ibarra family. Manuel's love of music brought us together...I came to know Manuel as a true gentleman and servant leader. He would always call me with his ideas for songs to play and to find out where the band was performing. May he rest in peace. Richard and Gloria Lopez

Manuel and I served in the department together. I was on the first Shields retreat with him, l lend him my dress uniform when he got promoted. He was my friend and brother. I will miss him.

To the Ibarra family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Manuel and I attended Thomas Jefferson together and have always thought highly of him as have so many of our classmates. On graduation night, we sat next to each other during a four hour ceremony, halfway through, I turned to Manuel and said I don't feel well and need to leave! As I got up to leave, Manuel grabbed my arm and sat me back down and said, you'll be fine. He was right! I've always remembered that night and how he came...

Manuel was a true friend of our family. My brothers and I went to grade school with Manuel and his sisters, and Manuel was in the Fire department with two of my brothers. If Manuel wasn't smiling, he was contemplating something...and then he would smile again. God Bless You Manuel.

Manuel was a caring, hardworking Firefighter and Paramedic. He was in our EMS class, and was a delight. God rest your soul, Brother. Condolences to the family.
