Manuel J. Maloof

I lived in DeKalb county 1948-1967, then moved to Alabama, where I still live. Last night I had a dream in which Mr. Maloof made an appearance. I doubt the person I recognized as Maloof looked anything like the "real thing." When I woke up this morning, remembering the name Manuel Maloof, I knew not why. What an amazing life Mr. Maloof lived! I had the pleasure of retaining his counsel for a court case in Gwinnett county years ago. The expression of the smug DA when he saw Mr. Maloof seated at my side was priceless, and worth the cost of admission. A champion for the people!

Its been along time since i've seen Mr. Maloof, but he will always be an unforgetable person. My sympathy to the Maloof family.

MR. MALOOF WAS A GOOD MAN, MY FATHER (ED) ENJOYED CONVERSATIONS WITH HIM WHENEVER HE WAS IN THE MALOOF'S TAVERN AREA. GREAT RESPECT FOR HIM AND HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE. KNEW HIS SON BRIAN, WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM HIM TO CATCH UP! GOD BLESS ALL-
