Continue Resting Peacefully

To my dear friend I will miss our visits. I know that you are in a better place, because he told us so. I will pray to you and for you. Rest in peace.

Well, another gem has gone on to meet his Mother, Father, and brother George. How sad it is to lose a childhood friend like Manny Munuch! He was the story teller…and a load of fun to be in the company of…just like a lot of the comments in this book has pointed out. I remember him from the Fox Point days and right up to his final hospitalization days and he still took pride in being able to recall times from those days gone by.

His love for his Cape Verdean family and friends...

Manny will be missed......I knew him since I was 9 years old.....he would come over our house and do my hair and eat cachupinha and talk and he would make us laugh so much.....we will miss him dearly..

I only knew Manny for a short time
however,I heard his name over the years . I can attest to his friendliness that has been mentioned by so many. I met Manny when I started at Cleary in the 7th grade. Everyone knew one another and I was the new one and to complicate matters, I had just become Catholic a few months earlier. He was my first friend at Cleary and I never forgot his his welcome and his warmth. All these years later I had not forgotten him. What a great legacy he leaves.

I did not know of Manny's passing until today. I definitely would have attended his memorial service. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time. He always had something funny to say, and I loved his love of the Cape Verdean culture. He will be missed by many. May he rest in PEACE!
Sincerely,

To the Mendes family I offer my sincere condolences. I will always have fond memories of Manny Munuche doing my hair for my proms, giving me my first big haircut and hearing to stories of The Point back in the day. He was such a keeper of the Cape Verdean culture that it was a privilege to be in his presence. He will be sorely missed!

Because of your knowledge of our family here and abroad I always considered you a Patriarch of the those of us remaining members. I will miss your, always positive outlook on life. Cousin, Nicholas Francis Mendes Rose

In SINCERE SYMPATHY TO ALL MY COUSINS AND FAMILY!
TO Manny, Thanks You FOR THE LOVE AND WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT WILL LIVE IN MY HEART FOR EVER AND EVER.

LOVE ALWAYS MAY BONADIE,REED
