My heart goes out to the Roza family. I am another student that used to ride that same highschool bus during my time at Coast Union between 1977 through 1981. I too remember his kind eyes, his beautiful smile, his nice laugh, and his kind and caring compassion for the kids that attended highschool in Cambria, CA. I remember Manuel well because for four years he was my bus driver back and forth every day to high school from Cayucos to Cambria. From 1981-84. He always had a smile for me. He would rule that bus from his rear view mirror. He pulled that thing over plenty of times along Highway One to yell at the boys. Never the girls. Well one time he yelled at girls. My girl friend drove us to school one day and we passed the bus on the way. Manuel was so mad. When he got to Coast Union he tracked us...

Four Generations

I only saw Grandpa Roza the few times he & Grandma Roza traveled to North Carolina, but in those few visits he was warm & kind & fun. I enjoyed spending time with him and had a lot of fun playing cards with him. Although I didn't know him very long, I have enjoyed hearing stories about him from my husband, Mike Dawson. He was a great man and an inspiration to many. He will be missed...
