Jean & Family,
Memories of the wonderful Christmases spent with my extended family at the Simas home in Samoa bring back thoughts of my good friend Manny. He will always be remembered as determined and strong man, but also as one whom loved his family and friends. I will miss him, and I hope the days ahead will lighten your sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was saddened to read the notice of the passing of Manny. I worked in the Samoa office for a number of years while Manny was there. He always seemed to have things under control, never adding undue pressure to the work activity. Again I am saddened of this news about someone with whom I shared a place and time in life.

Dear Jean & Family, I have many happy memories of the years I was Manny's secretary in the LP Personnel Office. Everyone worked hard, and it was fun. Enjoyed and was inspired by the big, busy family when everybody was young, how you made things work so well! I still make the spaghetti sauce recipe you gave me, Jean. None better. Thinking of you all in your sorrow and wishing you peace and comfort.
