Doña Manuela was a role model for many Latina women in the Cleveland community. She was an R.N. at Metro General Hospital and opened doors for many Latinas. She worked on the OB floor and cared for many young women and their babies. She was kind, intellegent and caring. She was a mentor and a friend and some-one that made a tremendous impact on my life.
I know that there is a special place in heaven for her.
